Hi list, anybody here using the Oracle T4 - series as hardware platform for Spectrum? One of my customers has to renew his hardware. At the moment he uses the M3000 servers from oracle, which is the official recommendation from CA. My support request for the new T4 series was answered with "CA doesn't have any experience on this hardware and so the recommendation is still the M-series".
I also asked a Oracle technician, who told me that the T4 series is a lot of better in single-threading than the old T2 series and should be a good choice for Spectrum. Anybody here has some experience with the T4 series and Spectrum?
