We have a bunch of 3945s that are showing up in "Cisco IOS - SSH Capable"; we
actually use SNMP/TFTP to back those up. Not sure why yours wouldn't do that
unless they're earlier than IOS 12.2 or the show up as using IOS3.x in which
case you can easily adapt the script used for backing up IOS devices via SSH.

Of course if you don't have SSH on the devices - you probably should!

Subject: [spectrum] Backing up Configurations for Cisco 3945 devices

Has anyone developed any sort of automation/script that works with NCM to
capture a cisco 3945 device's configuration(s)?

Thanks!
