SNMPv3 works fine in SystemEDGE and Spectrum. You will need to create a Profile in Spectrum with the corresponding Auth and Priv settings you chose for the agent.
Remember to look at the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc It has SS default Auth and Priv settings you may not want to use. If you don't change them in the file and bounce the SS, you'll need to specify the preferred Auth and Priv settings in the Profile you build using the ^ delimiter. Read the Spectrum doc on this. -Rob On 8/27/2013 2:51 PM, Ami R Patel wrote: > > Hi, > > I am trying to setup SystemEDGE SNMPv3 to discover systems in > Spectrum.
