NCM below 9.3 was able to handle configurations around 20.-30.000 lines. This is improved in Spectrum 9.3. We tested the 9.3 beta version and NCM was able to deal with configuration files with 160.000 lines. 9.3 is now official released. Hi I saw the same problem on site earlier this year and, as it suggests, the solution was to increase the -Xmx parameter. I don't have access to that system anymore but from memory I believe we set it around 1600M and it worked fine. I don't know if there's a limit to what it can be, probably depends on your system resources.
