Johan,
Does this mean they have unique loopback addresses to maintain in their
Network Address field? There are several attributes you can look at:
NeedDuplicateModel
Need_Duplicate_IP
Their values are set to "YES" by default.
You could model the first device, set it to Maint Mode, set its
NeedDuplicateModel and Need_Duplicate_IP to "NO" and then model the 2nd
one. But that still leaves the issue of what to set the Network
Addresses for device communications.

Hi,
you can model the other IPs with the "Model by Type" tool.
Choose the correct modeltype and just let the Network address empty. Spectrum
will create a model and you can change the network address via the General
Information menu.

Betreff: [spectrum] Two devices with the same ip?
Hi,
Is it possible to, only for a few devices, exempt the protection against
multiple entries of the same IP-address?
We've got some bridging devices that lists it's pairing buddies IP's in their
own ifTable when connected.
This leads Spectrum to only discover one of the nodes and then refuse the
second due to an IP already being defined.
