CA Support online is now available, and the KB for this error reported:

During the installation of Spectrum on Windows, if the Windows Messaging
Subsystem or Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) subsystem is
not installed, you will get the following error during Host Evaluation portion
of the installation process:
Warning: Windows Messaging has not been configured correctly.
You must set your default mail profile to enable email for SPECTRUM
applications.

Solution:
The Windows Messaging Subsystem is only used by the Spectrum Performance View
pviewrep application to e-mail the Health Report created by the pviewrep
application.
If the pviewrep application is not going to be used, there is no need to
configure Windows Messaging and the installation can continue.
If the pviewrep application is going to be used, the installation can continue
but the Windows Messaging will have to be configured before using the pviewrep
application.
The pviewrep application is discussed in the "Run Health Reports from the
Command Line" section of the "Performance Administration Guide".

Thank you

Can you check the tomcat server log on that windows host..? Should be the
stdout file in C:\win32app\Spectrum\tomcat\logs..or whatever drive you
installed on...

Also..make sure you have a local windows spectrum user defined...or whatever
the install owner is...

Subject: [spectrum] 9.3 oneclick on a seperate machine not working

Hi, I have just loaded spectrum9.3.0 on Linux. Everything went smoothly. I then
loaded 9.3 (oneclick only for the server on linux) on windows and the first
time I started it everything worked, I had the administration tag, when I
clicked on start console the console started and was also fully populated.
I then loaded spectrum connector got that working and after a few reboots I
noticed that oneclick no longer has the administration tag, when I click on
start console the console starts I can see the borders and the works navigation
but it never populated the console.

I could not uninstall the onclick from windows but I deleted everything and I
have reloaded. Oneclick is still exactly the same.

When I loaded the linux server I loaded spectrum and oneclick and that oneclick
work beautifully.

Why is the oneclick on windows behaving like this.
Thanks
Vee
