One of our Cisco devices is generating traps however the value being sent are
ASCII numbers.
Example:
cgdFirstClauseId.cgdDnsRuleName =
17.119.119.119.46.102.114.101.100.46.116.120.116
It translates to: www.fred.txt
(note: ASCII numbers changed for privacy issues - but you get the point)
Is there an EventDisp code scheme to translate the trap from ASCII number to
ASCII text?
{S #} doesn't work. {A #} guessed this, doesn't work. {O #} doesn't work
either.
Don't think an EventTable would work. And don't know enough about
EventProcedure to use that.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I thought it was a simple fix, just can't
recall how.
