First thing that sticks into my eyes is that in your debug message, there's a missing closing quote sign at the end of the event procedure. But this could be a copy & paste failure. Other than that, you have a missing opening curved bracket at "...ToString(ReadAttributeInstance( C CURRENT_MODEL }" right before "C CURRENT_MODEL" Besides that, the syntax seems to be correct.
