Hello Amitay,

did you try the octet string data type O?
It seems like according to the IETF draft opaques are "double wrapped" octet
stings, so the chance is high, that you'll just get binary data (another octet
string), even when using the octet strings.
I couldn't find a more fitting variable type either.

Best regards

Betreff: [spectrum] opaque data type

Hi all,
According to the sniffer I get a varbind type opaque.
I've tried most of the type letters in the event with no success of catching
the value (since the type mismatch).
Has anyone deal with such a type?
Is there a way I can collect its value?

Amitay.
