Hi Dan, list,

when searching the mailing list archive, there were some discussions around
that in 2012. Additionally there is a community discussion thread currently
ongoing: https://communities.ca.com/ideas/235719908
Both focus on the same solution: build an event rule to exclude the unwanted
instance.

Mit freundlichen Gruessen - Yours sincerely

Betreff: [spectrum] Change a polled metric in a Cisco ASR model

I have need to use the built in Memory utilization event/alarms for some
specific Cisco device (ASR)

I need a method to exclude certain memory devices from being polled as the
alarm is generated on any memory instance.

I am only interested in Processor memory - not ismpi_io memory which is
always at 100%.

Can this be done
