Hi Jon, list,

the cisco-chassis-sub-app-view-config.xml is referred to/used only, if an
application model of type CiscoChasApp (modeltypehandle 0x210032) is existing
for a particular device model. This application model contains the
information/attributes specific to the underlying MIB.
There are many similar examples like CiscoCDPApp, CiscoFlashApp, etc. – each of
the specific views will be displayed if the corresponding application model is
existing, only.
Having said that, many of MIB-specific attributes reside on these application
submodels, not on the device models.

Sidenote: Entity View shall be preferred in favor of Cisco Stack and Cisco
Chassis View.

Mit freundlichen Gruessen - Yours sincerely

Hi Again, yes we are looking into that.
In the file Cisco-chassis-sub-app-view.xml the topmost of the values in the red
«outline"
is referred to as 21031d, I dont understand how I can use this attr in the
locater tab also.
It must be a entry in the file table-model-config.xml in the
custom/common/config catalog to make it show as a new column in the locater.

The value of 21031d from the cisco-chassis-sub-app-config…. is nothing, the
attire doesn’t even exist???

I was thinking there might be a way to use a regex string to get just the part
you want.

Hi Rick.
Thanks for the answer.
I learned that to, but I also found out that it was´nt what we where looking
for.
I think that was a table, do you know if there is an attribute or a way to
isolate the chassis type for the 37xxstack without the whole table, the column
in the locater was very wide with all that info.

Hi Jon,

From what I see, the spectrum attribute to reference is 0x12a6d

Hi all.
We are trying to make a column in the Locater, this column should show us the
version on the chassis for the cisco 3750 switch.
On this switchtype from cisco all the different types have the same oid, so we
need a way to sort / show the different types.
In the "Chassis View» in the information tab we can see that it is e.g. an
cat3750G-24ps.
This info is stored in a table with attribute NRM_LinecardData, the attribute
in the file Cisco-chassis-sub-app-view.xml is 0x21031d.
When we refer to this and use the block from this file in the
cisco-chassis-sub-app-view.xml we get «nada".

Have someone tried this before?
Or do someone know how to show the different types of the CAT3750xxstack please
let me know.

Best Regards
