Hi Roberth,

create a watch with datatype boolean an try following expression:

   ( ( ifSpeed.# == SEBIfSpeedThreshold ) | ( ifSpeed.# == 0 ) )

And set  threshold  to "violated if value != TRUE

Kind Regards

Waldemar

Betreff: [spectrum] SPectroWatch help

I have to create a watch that monitors that IfSpeed is set to 1GB an all NICs.

So..

I created a watch “SEBIfSpeedThreshold” with expression 1000000000

And one watch “SEBifSpeed” with expression ifspeed.# that checks all instances
AND compared with SEBIfSpeedThreshold as threshold.

The above works fine… But unused NICs present themselves with IfSpeed 0, which
result in an alarm L

So how can I write the expression so that it ignores all instances that have
0’s…?

Help anyone?

/Roberth
