Has anyone seen issues with Spectrum 10 and it's handling of LiveHealth alarms from eHealth?
We've got a bunch of servers being monitored by Spectrum & eHealth and we're using LiveHealth for baseline breaching of time-over-threshold conditions for disk/cpu/memory etc. as Spectrum's own handling isn't as flexible as we'd like. We're seeing alarms assert from LiveHealth correctly, however if a clear alarm trap is sent (either via manually clearing in LiveHealth or the condition is no longer breaching and LiveHealth send it itself) we get a Critical alarm every time stating "UNKNOWN LIVE HEALTH ALARM" - and we get a couple of events one of which has no varbinds in it, the other giving the Critical alarm. Unfortunatley due to the sensitivity of the network (and the fact I can only access it via a restricted Citrix session) getting screenshots is near-on impossible, but suffice it to say I have looked at WireShark traces of the traps coming in from LiveHealth and we're only receiveing one SNMP trap per clear, but for some reason we're getting multiple events. If I get no joy here, next port of call is a ticket with CA support! Thanks & regards Dave David K.
