Hey parth, haven't heard from you or your brother for a while...but anyways...
Opposite colour is when you can't see an easy cross on your main colour( we'll use red) and you see an easy cross on orange...you turn the cube so orange is the bottom and solve the cube with orange on bottom instead of red. It makes the cross faster...and can help with always having a good cross...with practice it becomes easy...
