It's a funny thing that I've noticed too. I was in the 17.** range for
 at least two months but then suddenly I did 16.32 and then a few
weeks later 15.86, so I was in the 16.** range for a really short
time. I'm not cubing very much right now because my thumb and arm is
aching (is it the right word?) when I touch a cube.
