I explain why the patch included in the driver package is necessary for
people who gets disconnect by his ISP every x minutes... Read the mail, read
the n_hdlc patch section of the HOWTO (driver_path_sources/doc-linux/) and
good luck :-) This problem will be corrected.

It is mainly a kernel problem but you can avoid thousands of forks
tuning adsl peer file values
-holdoff 0
+holdoff 4
-maxfail 0
+maxfail 25
These values are taken from the HOWTO so i know you've not followed the HOWTO
(you're a very bad boy ;-)
