your ppp connection has not come up. there is no ip address associated with it. there should be a line such as: inet addr:a.b.c.d P-t-P:w.x.y.z Mask:255.255.255.255 where a.b.c.d is the ip address of the client end of the link and w.x.y.z is the ip address of the isp end of the link. note that it may take upto half a minute for the ppp to come up properly. check your logs for errors and read the ppp stuff at www.linuxdoc.org hope this is of some help GREG Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe
