Yeah, basically the SysV script could behave like a hotplug
script. We have just to configure the speedtouch.conf file
correctly (without usb loading, without pppd ?).

The problem is the hotplug is somewhat broken from some kernel
versions to another. I tried it with a 2.4.16 ircc and it failed
(kernel was never calling the /sbin/hotplug script). Btw this
feature should be proposed for next release.

Alex : i propose a 1.1 version because of the many changes we made
       to the cvs and for the upcoming sync/async pppoa patch.

I think, if you agree, we should release a new version at the
beginning of May. It's not a .plan date but i think it's really
time to do a new release (too much change in CVS) and this date
gives us more than 3 weeks to close/debug all new features.
