An initial test on my normal FreeBSD 4.3 box doesn't seem to work.. at least, modem_run doesn't seem to exit, and I don't get any log info, even with the lines in /etc/syslog.conf & following a reboot.
I can ^C modem_run though to get out, and it does seem to have done it's job in that the modem is now usable to ppp. Just no feedback from the program! I will plug the 4.5 box in tomorrow and have another go, and should that work, will try both modems on it too.
