I don't believe so.
However, I have just spotted something very odd that could be your
problem.
At the top of crc.h add a line
#define DEBUG
Anywhwere will do (not in the middle of a comment),
probably after the bit marked
/*****
* Constants
*****/
Would be best.
I'm now off to see when and why this change was made :-)
It might not help but if it does then let us know because if so then
this "optimization" needs to be controlled via a commandline option.
