Hi; I am attempting to set up my Alacatel USB modem under RedHat 7.3.
I have been using information found at this web site www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch. Which directed me to another site linux-usb.sourceforge.net/SpeedTouch/HowTo. A lot of the files there seem to be rather dated. I have the latest Management files from Alcatel. But the other files I am not sure about their being the ones to use, ex. speedtouch-1.x.tar.gz which is used in step 5 of the HOWTO. My ISP is BellSouth and I am pretty confident that they use the PPPoA connection type. If someone could point me in the direction.
