I did find 3 files called modem_run, renamed 2 of them, kept the one in /usr/local/bin original. Now when I do:
modem_run -v 2 -m -f /usr/share/speedtouch/mgmt.o IT WORKS !!! the two bottom lines are: ADSL Line is UP, downstream at 16777216 kbit/s upstream at 4194304 kbit/s ADSL link goes UP Looks great but . . . as I do : pppd call adsl nothing happens :-( even ifconfig ppp0 gives an error message ! my pppd is in /usr/sbin/pppd Please, please a little more help !
