I've had no problems using the line at full speed both up and down at the same time.

I get a few AAL5/CRC errors, but these do not seem to affect the speed and from the 
other posting to this list appear to be quite common.

My only problem is that the modem hangs from time to time (about once a week or so) 
requiring a reboot.

strange no ? Why the USB speedtouch is so badly supported under *BSD ?

Did you experienced upload/download problem (i mean when you make them 
happening a the same time) ?
