Hi, I have an Alcatel Speedtouch USB
I tried to install this modem but is doesn't work.
My system:
Linux Debian Woody 3.0 r1
Kernel 2.4.20-k7
PPP: 2.4.1
Driver: speedtouch_1.2-0beta1_i386
Provider: Elitel (www.elitel.biz)
My problem:
LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
I tried to solve this problem reading the mail archive but...
# modem_run -s -m -f /usr/local/lib/mgmt.o
All Okay: the modem works
# pppd call adsl

-> My modem works perfectly under win2k
-> Chap/pap config files are okay
-> in /proc/net/atm there isn't Alcatel Speedtouch USB:0 or USB:1 (it is
normal?)
Je ne sais pas ce que je dois faire!
