Hi Yes I am with Westnet.
Basically I have installed Red Hat 8.0 from scratch onto a clean PC. Booted up and everthing works fine. Have connected my usb adsl modem and followed various tutorials on the net. I basically use the mgmt.o file from Alcatel and then then the speedtouch drivers from sourceforge using the opensource method. I am using stock standard Red hat Kernel. 2.4.18. Not sure what Westnet has provided me with. I mainly use XP and the modem works fine. I want to use Linux as my firewall with IPtables as they are the best firewall and most configurable. Not sure what you mean when you are talking about space etc Any more ideas Thanks in advance ---- Original Message ---- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], Subject: RE: [speedtouch] Re: Alacatel USB Speedtouch with Red Hat 8.0 Date: Mon, 10 Mar 2003 08:38:47 +0800 (WST) > >Hmmm, WestNet, eh?
