Sorry if this is slightly off topic...

I'm trying to do just this, but my motherboard's built in USB is uhci, 
while the card I'm trying to use if ohci, and although the controller is 
detected at startup (log below), nothing happens when I plug the modem into 
the PCI card usb slots.

Thoughts I've had:

* If I had a proper motherboard I could disable the on-board USB 
controller, but my bios is too old and does not support this.
* If I re-compile the kernel without uhci support maybe?
* Maybe I can tell usbd to only monitor ohci0 ?

Has anyone got any idea?
