I'm sorry for creating too many threads. I can't seem to reply to anything. I'm trying
the user-level drivers once again. Once again they seem to work up to point then just
fail. This time I made a log to show what is going on.
Here are the commands which I typed and the response:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ su

Any help whatsoever would be appreciated. So far, from what I gather, the firmware
upload works. All the modules are present. The only thing I see that goes wrong is
once I type "pppd call adsl". It works all according to plan....then finds a previous
instance (????) and fails for no reason. Can someone explain this? I really would love
to get this working, I've spent far too much time trying this and I am running out of
plans.
