ok, just to state i dont have the adsl line active yet, im just trying to setup
the modem while waiting for the internet connection to be available from the
local loop.
Theres 2 websites atleast for alcatel speedtouch modem this
linux-usb.sourceforge.net and this speedtouch.sourceforge.net, both have an
howto, and both seem outdated, so my 1st question is what procedure and from
wich website should i follow?
2nd question, i installed the speedbundle from linux-usb.sf.net and each time i
plug-in the mouse (line 1) i get the errors bellow. The right green light
doesnt stop blinking, some times gets red, recycles the procedure and shouts
the "someone is already accessing the modem..."
Lines 11/12 represent a modem unplug.

3rd question,
"News flash! HOWTO made obsolete by speedbundle!"
"...It should all "just work". For legal reasons you will need to get the
firmware elsewhere. Please write to the mailing list if it does not work
perfectly. There should be no need to consult this HOWTO."
The question is, you isntall the speedbunle you plug the mouse, so what you need
to do more? what commands should you type to make the connection ? to stop it ?
or to just check its status? Why is that info missing from the linux-usb.sf.net
site or the README that comes with the speedbundle?
4th question, following the last one, its my understanding that by using the
speedbundle i need to unplug/plug my usb cable each time i need to force a new
connection, imaging the situation where the modem lostthe syncronism with the
line what should be the procedure, to automagically, get the connection up
again?
This may seem easy or of small signifcant questions but i just want to be sure
everything will be ok when the time needs it, and not beeing able to connect
makes me kinda frustating with the all situation since i cant have a feedback
from my setuping actions. So thank you for any feedback regarding this issue.
