Hi, 1. I downloaded the speedbundle and firmware 2. read the README 3. executed "make" and "make install".
It ended with the following lines ... make[1]: Entering directory `/root/speedbundle-1.0/ppp_scripts' install -d /etc/ppp/peers/ install -b -m 600 speedtch /etc/ppp/peers/speedtch install -b -m 600 chap-secrets /etc/ppp/chap-secrets install -b -m 600 pap-secrets /etc/ppp/pap-secrets make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/speedbundle-1.0/ppp_scripts' So what's next ? The HOWTO states "This contains everything you need to get a speedtouch modem working under linux, including configuration files. It should all "just work". There should be no need to consult this HOWTO." Don't I need to build and install the new kernel ?
