"usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x... /0x....) is not claimed by any active
driver."
or your usb setting is very wrong, don't you have loaded usbcore, your usb
driver {usb-uhci|usb-ohci} and mount usbdevfs?
Unplug you modem and plug it in
