I've setup my linux-box (Mandrake 9.2) and Thomson SpeedTouch 330 with
the instructions from SpeedTouchUSB-HOWTO at sourceforge.net

The modem seems to be working, but is not connecting to the remote site
... the following is the output after I issue the "pppd call adsl"
comand (with debugging switched on) ... am I right in this?

using channel 81
Using interface ppp1

anyone any ideas?

I've quadruple-checked the logins, and tried the -e 1 option in the
pppoa3 line (which the output rejects with "unknown option '-e'
ignored).

many thanks
