I installed my USB speedtouch 330 modem as specified by the LFS hint. It works OK, I just have a problem with reconnection : my provider (Free.fr, for those who know about it) disconnect me every 24h or so (to prevent me from making money with my own website, I suppose ?), and each time this happens, I get this on my logs :

Apr 30 04:11:16 detritus pppd[23574]: connect(8.35): Address already in use Apr 30 04:11:16 detritus pppd[23574]: Exit. and I have to reconnect by hand, calling pppd again. Do you have a solution for this ? I investigated this on internet, but only found questions, no definite answer. My /etc/ppp/options and /etc/ppp/peers/speedtch files are as provided by the hint.
