I don't know for sure, but it seems to me quite likely that hotmail and msn probably use some sort of security protocol/encryption. For Iptables to handle it you probably need to load some extra modules. I don't know which ones though. I just say yes to everything on the Device Drivers ---> Networking support ---> Networking options ---> Network packet filtering (replaces ipchains) ---> IP: Netfilter Configuration ---> netfilter menu and build it all into the kernel. I've just been upstairs to test and I can log in to my sons hotmail account on my daughters laptop (which is being masqueraded through this computer) so it's definitely possible. Check your kernel modules/config
