Where would it print this? On the screen during boot-up sequence? Goes 
so fast, it's a bit hard to follow some of that output. (As you've 
guessed, I'm pretty much a Linux newbie [experienced programmer in 
another universe, though :-) ] )

I'll re-boot to Linux and check that usepeerdns.
