I typed dmesg and I found indeed the String "ADSL line is up". the right LED however has flasht over 60 times, i think approximatly one minute twenty. When i was logged in and could start firefox, the light was still flashing. After the 60 times, the right LED stayed green. This is however normal with my phone line. When I am using Windows, I have to wait a minute to make an internet connection.

Did the firmware load? Once the kernel has loaded the speedtch module the left LED should stay green while the right LED flashes eight or nine times (and then stays green). Another way to check is to look in dmesg for the string "ADSL line is up".
