==> ALERT: 200 caves in danger in Spain.
From World Caving News http://www.zenas.gr/WCN => 4 Feb. 2007.Hi there!I'm
writing in order to make you know http://www.espeleoteca.com ; it is he website
of the speleo club sited in Almería (S Spain). We have a cataloge of near
1500 caves in an area of only 12 square kilometres called Sorbas Gypsum Karst.
Although it is an unique karst area in the world, it is in imperiled risk
because of a very bad planned mining based on the obsolete Spanish Government's
30-yrs old mining law that allows to destroy near 200 caves. Thank you very
much for your attention. Best regards,Francisco A. Ruiz-AvilésECA
