Topic: The SPF website Name: Rasmus Mencke Organization: Salesforce.com Hi, I have just been involved in the process of creating the SPF record for Salesforce.com. I do not think the instructions and examples are helpful enough. There should be more and better examples. For example: it would often be normal practice to enter ip4:123.123.123.123,345.345.345.355 etc. Just as a comma separated list, I know that is not the case, but the test says it is an ok literal. Maybe the test tool could validate that only one ip address with the right format is entered, and a couple more examples more clearly stating how different scenarios would look. I think that would help a lot of people, creating the correct string and limit the confusion on how to create it and what to include in the string.
