No. For example, current members of an SPI associated project such as Debian or PostgreSQL who respond to an inquiry about wanting to remain an SPI contributing member (similar to the one that Debian did recently) will remain contributing members. I'd expect it will be similar for other contributing members who meet the membership criteria in other ways.
