Hello all,
Its been a while since i have done any work on the Spit. I have been in school and
no time on weekends becuase of work. But in a week or two i have a week of and i am
dedicating htat week to working on the car. I am rolling her into the garage,
dropping hte engine in and going from there.
I do have a few questions for y'all though.

1.) As of right now i have no keys for the car. When i am trying to start it for the
first time should i just hotwire it? or should i spend the money to get a new set of
keys and ignition?

2.) I was talking to a fella during last seasons auto-x, and he was saying that he
didn't do any welding on his car. He found some other compound that was just as good
as welding but it was just a very strong glue or something. Has anyone heard of this?
tried this? results? I have access to a welder, but i have never tried it before
andi have to do some major work on the rockerpanels and get the floors in. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

3.) Body work Question. The PO did most of the external body work before he gave it
to me. The front of the bonnet had a good size dent in it so he just filled it with
bondo. He also filled all the little holes for the "Triumph" lettering on the front.
I was thinking about trying to knock the dent out from the inside and remove all the
bondo and start over. is this a good idea? or should i just leave it as is? Again,
body work is something i have never really done before (I am mostly an engine guy).

Again, any advice and suggeestions are welcome.

Thanks,
  Dave
