I did the corvette air shock conversion a couple months ago and lifted a somewhat sagging rear of the car as well as restoring more reasonable camber angles. Its been great for street usage. But Im hoping to do some autocrossing this summer and Im thinking that I will want to bleed some air off and start with a little more initial negative camber. (Actually Im even wondering if air shocks are desirable for autocrossing since Im guessing that the air pressure only works in the compression direction, and adding more air doesnt add to reducing jounce. Is that at all correct?)

At any rate, the rest of the suspension including tires and wheels is stock late 1500. My goals are basically to have fun and drive my best and if Im competitive, well thats great too. What I dont want to do is to increase my times based on a foolish and easily remedied incorrect air pressure in the rear shocks.

Any and all advice welcomed!

Thanks as always.

Greg
