Hi Karen,

This is just determined by the limits for density. You can set these manually 
from the l) menu:

Please enter your selection now (y axis or option):l2
------------------ limits options ---------------------
Enter column number to set limits (0=quit) ([0:10], default=0): 6
density min (default=-8.6668E-09): 
density max (default=1.1288E-06): 
 >> density limits set (min,max) =   -8.66682459E-09   1.12882401E-06

these are saved (when you type 'S' from the main menu) to the splash.limits 
file. You can also edit this file to manually set the limits.
