Hello Pat, I listened to your sound sample. The signal is a 32-tone MFSK mode (also called CROWD36) and is used by Russian diplo/military/intel stations including M42. These stations are sometimes on the air for hours. XPerta recognizes some of the tones and decodes them but it doesn't decode the whole message.
