Yes Dan, I believe those are marine channel designations, not numbers stations. Those are the channels theyre listening to/on for normal comms with that station. In RTTY you see these designators all the time.

Hello to all:
I don't know if this is a numbers station or a channel marker, as it is in the marine band on 8734 kHz. I have heard a station in the evening here in the NE USA- about 0230 UTC but I suspect it's continuous- saying, "This is Olavia Radio," then Greek (and during Olympic Week , too! :-) ) then "806 1222 1629 1640 2210 and 2217." Has anyone else heard it or know what it may be?
