They don’t keep them up long because they get busted, for lack of a better 
word, by people like us listening to them time and time again, or by hundreds 
of curious onlookers :)

I have started trying to decode the NYC and SFO messages, using some letter 
frequency counts in the NYC message.  However, I need to run to the vet to have 
my dog/cat checked up.

If someone would like my Excel sheets to try on their own - email me offline.

Interesting!

Both of the numbers are dead, they don't seem to keep the messages up there for 
long. Speculation exists that the next number to be posted on craigslist will 
be a Boston area code.
