This really is a weird station. I start to wonder if it is for real .... Very unprofessional, unlike its Russian language sister S06s which seldom screws up Very nice catch, Daniel 73, Ary -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Spooks [mailto:spooks-boun...@mailman.qth.net] Namens Daniel Ekmann Verzonden: zaterdag 15 november 2014 18:00 Aan: Shortwave Spy Numbers Stations Onderwerp: [Spooks] E17z, 15 November 2014 Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks to unsubscribe from this list Hello. Today, 15 November 2014, starting at 1530 UTC on 10240 kHz there was one of the craziest E17z transmissions as of late. It started with the standard E17z voice machine repeating '274'. It stopped after two minutes, and returned a minute later. After one minute of repeated '274', the message began: 958 958 30 30 33796 13577 74526 46647 79302 20534 11160 43494 Then, suddenly, the carrier was switched off. It returned a minute later with '274' repeated for one minute, then it continued from group #9 onwards: 38786 30485 Someone at E17z turned down the audio at the two last digits of the repeat of the group '30485'. Blank carrier for two minutes, then faint E17z returned with repeated '274', but seconds later it stopped. Then over the next two minutes there were ~30 kHz wide tones, and a minute later more '274' with low audio, which stopped after 30 seconds. It stopped, and then 15 seconds it restarted with good audio. '274' for one minute, and groups from #11 onwards: ..... 68672 86468 38786 30485 96632 52537 53317 06675 41847 21767 53587 11834 81022 36903 41412 55676 09775 86315 25910 (! repeated as 25901 !) 05899 50387 45847 23013 89757 52343 79628 42432 54 and off again Then, something unusual happened - we could hear microphone noises and breathing into it, then a LIVE YL OPERATOR began repeating '274', continuing from group #34 onwards: 23013 89757 52343 79628 42432 54577 56281 891 891 30 30 0 0 0 0 0 Note that the DK at the end was '891', as opposed to '958' given at the beginning. Also the message was 40 groups long in total. The same YL was previously heard on Thursday, 13 November 2014, at 0700-0710 UTC on 8100 kHz, where she tried to send a message, also with DK '891', but stopped after two groups. Therefore the full message was: 274 958 30 33796 13577 74526 46647 79302 20534 11160 43494 38786 30485 46062 68672 86468 38786 30485 96632 52537 53317 06675 41847 21767 53587 11834 81022 36903 41412 55676 09775 86315 25910 (! repeated as 25901 !) 05899 50387 45847 23013 89757 52343 79628 42432 54577 56281 891 30 00000 Note that the groups '38786 30485' repeat in this message. The message groups have been heard on S06s before. These are just examples from this year, in order. Some repeats are even "vertical".
