Ah, but are you using the NSA approved font? (Like I said, I was an
admin guy.)
Who's number 2?

Great reference to Number 6.
"I am not a number!"
I own the DVD box set by the way.
I crafted my own 16 mm films using various Bolex and Arriflex cameras a few
years back and used a few off air numbers station recordings in one of my
obscure creations.
I even called it "Numb3rs". Well before the awful television show. I love a good mystery
and these stations go back to a different time, when I was growing up. The end of the Vietnam
"conflict" and before that the Cuban Middle Crisis, later the fall of the USSR and much
more

Listening to numbers stations is something that I have enjoyed since childhood.
Once did a sociology class report on numbers stations in high school, including
recordings of several stations that I had recorded at home on my shortwave
radio. My teacher thought that I had made the whole thing up until I showed her
some articles from “Communications World” and “Popular Communications.”
Not as active anymore, but return to this part of the radio hobby from time to
time. Love lurking on the list, seeing what is “new” in the world of this
intriguing stations.
BTW, did anyone else see “Rover” flying over Japan a few days ago? No. 6 must
have escaped from the Village again.
Be seeing you…
