When responding, please keep the subject line intact and reply to all email addresses included in the To and CC lines. (Feel free to cut this introductory paragraph, however.) Please refer to https://www.ietf.org/iesg/statement/discuss-criteria.html for more information about IESG DISCUSS and COMMENT positions. The document, along with other ballot positions, can be found here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-spring-problem-statement/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMENT: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for addressing my Discuss and improving Section 3.3. I still find the various comparisons on using a distributed approach vs. a centralized controller as lacking in accuracy and a poor justification for SPRING. Just say simply you do not want to use a distributed control plane. This is not the first time that IETF had this requirement for one of their data planes. I won't block publication, so my "Abstain" position. _______________________________________________ spring mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/spring
