FWIW, I will wait for a few days for Suresh to answer the question I have asked, and for the spring chairs and RTG AD to weigh in. That said, I have already begun to write and appeal I'll (initially) direct to the IESG as a whole. Besides, given that there's background to this situation (what happened in the context of rfc2460bis), I will raise the issue in other forums. I guess it should be clear to everyone that we are being mocked at. And I think the situation is unacceptable.
