Dear WG,

We have just submitted a new version of
draft-ietf-spring-srv6-srh-compression.

This revision should address all remaining comments that we received on the
mailing list. We would like to thank the reviewers and commenters again for
their most valuable feedback on this document.

The main changes are as follows.

- We reworked section 4.2.7 (End.DX and End.DT with REPLACE-C-SID) in
response to Boris' comments [EMAIL1]
- We clarified at the beginning of section 6 that an SR source node learns
the SIDs and their respective behavior/flavor from local configuration or
the control plane in response to Adrian's comment #26 [EMAIL2]
- We added a new section 6.5 on upper-layer checksum calculation in
response to Tal's comment [EMAIL3]
- We reworked section 7 (Inter Routing Domains Compression) in response to
Adrian's comment #62 [EMAIL4]
- We added a note on backward compatibility in section 8 in response to
Adrian's comment #66 [EMAIL2]
- We removed the reference to draft-clad-spring-srv6-srh-compression-illus
in response to Adrian's comment #74 [EMAIL4]
- We expanded the security consideration section in response to Adrian's
comment #77 [EMAIL4]
- We added a new section on the C-SID applicability to other SR segment
endpoint behaviors in response to Adrian's comment #83 [EMAIL4]
- We added the complete pseudocode for all behaviors in Appendix B in
response to Boris' comments #8.2, #9.2, #10.2 [EMAIL1]

Thanks,
Francois (on behalf of the C-SID co-authors)
