I've read the latest version of this draft, and support to progress it further.
The update about End.IL with different CSID flavors fully supports its use with
SRH compression mechanisms, which would improve the efficiency in many
deployments.

Dear WG,

We are sharing an updated version of
draft-ietf-spring-srv6-inter-layer-programming (revision -03) for your review
and feedback.

This draft describes the SRv6 End.IL behavior, which steers packets to underlay
connections to achieve efficient inter-layer coordination.
The draft was presented at both the Hackathon and WG session at IETF 125. Based
on feedback, we have made the following updates:
1. An Operational Considerations section is added, and the information of
implementations and interoperability test among multiple vendors is documented.
2. Two contributors are added based on their contributions to the
implementation and interoperability test.
3. In the IANA section, the registration requests for End.IL behavior with
different CSID flavors is added.

We would appreciate your review and comments on the list.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,

Minxue (on behalf of coauthors)

Internet-Draft draft-ietf-spring-srv6-inter-layer-programming-03.txt is now
available. It is a work item of the Source Packet Routing in Networking
(SPRING) WG of the IETF.

Title: SRv6 for Inter-Layer Network Programming

Abstract:

The Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6) Network Programming framework
enables a network operator or an application to specify a packet
processing program by encoding a sequence of instructions in the IPv6
   packet header.

Following the SRv6 Network Programming concept, this document defines
SRv6 based mechanisms for inter-layer network programming, which can
help to integrate the packet network layer with its underlying layers
efficiently. For inter-layer path programming, a new SRv6 behavior
is defined for steering packets to underlay network connections. The
applicability of this new SRv6 behavior in typical scenarios is
   illustrated.
